Heritage Notebook – Reusable Wooden Notebook

A reusable notebook system constructed from laser-cut veneered wood, designed to be refilled and used over time. With a flexible living hinge and replaceable pages, the Heritage Notebook is built as a long-term object rather than a disposable product.

Part of the Heritage collection, developed as the origin of Meraki Notebooks. The structure is formed from precision laser-cut wood, incorporating a living hinge that allows flexibility through the spine while maintaining the rigidity of the covers. The construction balances durability with adaptability, creating a notebook designed for continued use.

Available in a selection of veneered wood finishes including oak, cherry, beech and American black walnut, each offering a distinct surface and tone while maintaining the same construction and function.

The internal pages are fully replenishable, allowing the paper to be removed and replaced once filled. Refill pads are available in lined, dotted or plain formats, allowing the notebook to be adapted to different uses over time.

The refill pads are cold-glued, allowing them to lay perfectly flat when open, providing a consistent writing surface across the page.

The wood is left deliberately natural, allowing the surface to evolve with use. It can be sanded, treated or varnished, developing a patina that reflects how the notebook is handled and used.

The format is slightly undersized from A5, determined by the dimensions of the material to minimise waste during production. Each notebook is cut to maximise yield, resulting in a consistent format with minimal material loss.

The covers are lined with black velvet and finished with a black elastic closure, combining durability with a refined, tactile feel.

Manufactured in Bristol using a combination of digital cutting and hand assembly.

Available in a custom A5 format with your choice of refill insert in lined, dotted or plain.

Each notebook includes 160 pages of 120gsm FSC paper, designed to be removed and replenished, with black velvet lining and elastic closure.
